Built by W+F Bern in Switzerland, this K31 retains the hallmark straight-pull bolt action and a detachable 6-round box magazine. The action is complemented by a paddle-style magazine release and a crisp, clean bore that reflects excellent maintenance.
The rifle was manufactured in 1943 per the serial range, placing it firmly in the WWII era. Matching numbers were observed on the bolt sleeve and the magazine floorplate, and the receiver ring bears the Swiss cross-in-shield crest.
Sighting is handled by open iron sights: a square front post with protective ears and a tangent rear sight with a V-notch graduated to 1500 m. The top handguard, hardwood stock with grasping grooves, and two-barrel-band configuration are true to the model, with the front band integrating a bayonet/stacking lug and a left-side sling loop.
The barrel measures 25.7 inches, and overall length is approximately 43.5 inches (per model specification). The rifle includes a clamp-on multi-port muzzle brake/compensator and an installed leather sling, and it maintains a practical 12.75-inch length of pull.
