The DA/SA, hammer-fired, short-recoil locked-breech action provides traditional double-action capability with an external hammer. The Type F configuration includes an ambidextrous, slide-mounted manual safety/decocker, complemented by a firing pin block and a loaded chamber indicator for clear status at a glance.
The open-top slide design with rear cocking serrations promotes smooth cycling and easy manipulation. A top-mounted loaded-chamber indicator adds a tactile and visual check. Fixed sights consist of a front blade with a white dot and a rear notch for a clear, no-nonsense sight picture.
The glass-fiber-reinforced polymer frame integrates textured grips with finger grooves and a molded Beretta medallion, offering solid purchase without additional panels. A lanyard hole at the heel provides an attachment point when needed.
