The Stainless LW combines a matte silver slide and silver aluminum alloy frame with a Government-length, match-grade 5-inch bushing-fit stainless steel barrel. It retains the single-action 1911 operating system and uses the Browning short-recoil design with a full-length guide rod for smooth cycling.
This special configuration is a limited-time offering within the Kimber LW 1911 line. Factory rollmarks include STAINLESS LW on the slide and Yonkers NY USA on the frame, underscoring its U.S. manufacture.
Controls and fire-control parts are classic 1911: a skeletonized, three-hole aluminum trigger, a skeletonized commander-style hammer, a beavertail grip safety with memory bump, and a left-side thumb safety. The mag release is standard, and the dust cover is non-railed.
The slide features front and rear cocking serrations and a lowered, flared ejection port. Sights are fixed with a 3-dot arrangement: a dovetailed white-dot front and a dovetailed rear with two white dots.
