The configuration is classic 1911A1: government-length 5-inch barrel, single-stack 7+1 capacity, and steel construction. It uses the proven short-recoil, tilting-barrel, locked-breech action.
Controls and handling are period-correct, including a short, solid trigger; manual thumb safety and grip safety; a wide spur, checkered hammer; and an arched, checkered mainspring housing. Full-checkered brown synthetic grip panels provide a secure hold.
