The Model 85 Stainless pairs a compact 2-inch barrel with a bright-polished stainless frame and cylinder. A short underlug keeps the profile trim while maintaining a sturdy ejector-rod shroud. Capacity is 5 rounds in .38 Special, and factory specs for this stainless 2-inch variant are approximately 21 oz in weight, 6.5 in overall length, 1.35 in width, and 4.28 in height.
Its DA/SA action features a smooth trigger and an exposed, checkered spur hammer for confident double- or single-action use. The left-side push-forward cylinder latch provides straightforward operation, and the knurled ejector-rod tip aids positive extraction.
Sighting is simple and durable: a fixed system with an integral serrated ramp front and a rear trench. This setup is purpose-built for a snag-resistant, carry-friendly snubnose with a clear, consistent sight picture.
