The gun retains its blued steel and walnut construction, and the trigger system has no disconnector (slam-fire capable), a hallmark feature of this era.

The barrel is roll-marked "WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL" and "IMP. CYL.", and it now wears a Poly-Choke adjustable muzzle device for on-barrel choke selection.
The 26 inch plain steel barrel carries a front bead mounted on the Poly-Choke. Winchester "WP" oval proofs are present on both the barrel and receiver. Chambering is 2 3/4 inch, and the tubular magazine provides a 5+1 capacity.
Classic materials and dimensions include a blued steel receiver, a walnut pistol-grip stock with a steel buttplate, and a grooved corncob walnut fore-end. Length of pull measures 14 inches, providing a straightforward field fit consistent with the period.
