Fixed 3-dot dovetailed sights, front and rear slide serrations, and a two-slot Picatinny-style accessory rail round out a practical, purpose-built design. This example comes with two 16-round magazines and its factory box and manual.

This SD9 VE is the standard-capacity SKU 223900 configuration, pairing a satin stainless slide with a black polymer frame. The 4-inch stainless steel barrel and full-size format deliver a balanced profile suited to duty or home-defense roles.
The striker-fired action features the SDT (Self Defense Trigger), a constant-pull, hinged design. It employs passive safeties and does not use a manual thumb safety.
Controls and handling are straightforward, with molded grip panels bearing the S&W medallion and textured front and back straps for consistent purchase. The slide includes both front and rear cocking serrations and an external extractor.
Sighting is via fixed, dovetailed 3-dot irons: a white-dot front and a two-dot rear. A two-slot Picatinny-style accessory rail on the dust cover supports common weapon-mounted lights or lasers.
