This Daniel Defense DDM4 PDW is a compact AR-15–pattern pistol chambered in .300 AAC Blackout, built around a 7 in cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined CMV barrel with an S2W profile and a pistol-length gas system. It features the MFR XL 6.0 free-float M-LOK handguard, a factory linear compensator, and a Maxim Defense CQB pistol brace with an enhanced short buffer system. Receivers are 7075-T6 aluminum with a hard-coat anodized black finish, and the upper carries a continuous T-marked Picatinny top rail.

The 7 in barrel is cold hammer-forged from chrome-moly-vanadium steel, chrome-lined, and cut in Daniel Defense's S2W profile for durability. It is threaded 5/8x24 and fitted with a factory linear compensator that directs blast forward. A pistol-length gas system supports reliable function with .300 AAC Blackout.
The lightweight aluminum MFR XL 6.0 free-float handguard provides M-LOK slots for mounting and is marked MFR XL 6.0. A continuous, T-marked Picatinny rail runs along the top of the upper, and the upper receiver shows an A forge mark.
The brace is a Maxim Defense CQB two-rod PDW-style unit paired with an enhanced short buffer system. Controls include a manual safety and an ambidextrous, anti-gas charging handle. The Daniel Defense pistol grip carries the DD logo.
Markings include DDM4.PDW on the upper, Model DDM4 and Cal. MULTI on the lower, 300 AAC BLACK... on the barrel, and MFR XL 6.0 on the handguard. This model uses STANAG-pattern magazines and has a 30+1 capacity. Manufacturer part number is 02-088-22070, and MSRP is $1,865.
