This MTN Reaper is chambered in 6.5 PRC and uses a 20-inch carbon-fiber wrapped barrel that is threaded and fitted with a multi-port muzzle brake. The carbon-fiber wrap helps stiffen the barrel while keeping weight down, and the brake provides effective recoil mitigation.
The rifle is built on a magnesium alloy chassis finished in a two-tone bronze/gray. It features a carbon-fiber M-LOK handguard, a folding carbon-fiber stock with an adjustable cheekpiece, and a Limbsaver recoil pad. The length of pull is set at 14 inches, and the carbon-fiber vertical pistol grip complements the chassis layout.
A Bix'n Andy adjustable trigger provides a clean break, and cycling is aided by a spiral-fluted bolt with an enlarged knurled bolt knob. The action is configured for smooth operation and consistent lockup.
It uses a detachable AICS/Accurate-Mag pattern magazine system with a 3+1 capacity. One 3-round Accurate-Mag steel magazine is included. Mounting options are robust, with a full-length Picatinny scope base on the receiver, M-LOK slots along the handguard, installed Picatinny accessory rail section(s), and an MDT M-LOK clamp/mount already in place.
