- Removable inner magazine tube
- Factory plug screws installed in the drilled-and-tapped receiver
- Fixed sling loops
Built in 1969 with a serial prefix of "69," this Golden 39A carries the desirable JM proof on the barrel shank and the pre–cross-bolt safety configuration. The action uses an exposed hammer with a half-cock notch and a gold-colored trigger, aligning with period-correct features.
The 24 inch round barrel features Marlin's Micro-Groove rifling, paired with open sights: a ramped front blade and a rear leaf with an elevator. The front sight hood is not present.
The rifle retains its classic takedown design and a solid-top receiver with side ejection. The receiver is factory drilled and tapped on the top and the left wall, with plug screws in place.
Walnut furniture includes an uncheckered pistol-grip stock with a hard plastic buttplate and white-line spacer, and a capped walnut forearm. Fixed sling loops are installed, and the under-barrel, full-length tubular magazine uses a removable inner tube for loading .22 S, L & LR cartridges to a 15+1 capacity.
Construction is steel with a blued finish, made in the USA. The overall configuration reflects the Golden series styling and functional details of late-1960s production.
