The LaRue Tactical OBR 7.62 is a precision-focused AR-10 platform chambered in 7.62mm NATO, built on billet aluminum receivers with an 18-inch threaded barrel and an A2-style flash hider. It features a Magpul PRS (AR-10) precision stock in FDE, a LaRue free-float tubular handguard marked "XTRAXN TECHNOLOGY," and a continuous numbered top Picatinny rail with OBR branding. This rifle accepts SR-25/M110-pattern magazines and includes six 20-round magazines.

The OBR 7.62 is built on billet aluminum upper and lower receivers and is made in the United States. It uses a direct impingement, semi-automatic operating system on the AR-10 platform and is chambered for 7.62mm NATO (7.62x51). The rifle accepts SR-25/M110-pattern magazines and has a 20+1 capacity.
The 18-inch barrel is threaded and fitted with an A2-style flash hider. A LaRue free-float tubular handguard surrounds the barrel and is marked "XTRAXN TECHNOLOGY." The handguard provides modular rail sections at the 3 and 6 o'clock positions near the muzzle for accessory mounting.
Up top, a continuous numbered Picatinny rail with OBR branding spans the receiver and handguard. The upper receiver configuration omits a forward assist and includes an integral brass deflector and ejection port cover. The dust cover is marked "LARUE 7.62."
Furniture includes a Magpul PRS (AR-10) precision stock in FDE with tool-less adjustments for cheek height and length of pull. The rifle also features a LaRue FDE pistol grip, a manual safety selector, and a listed length of pull of 13.25 inches.
This rifle comes with six 20-round magazines. The set includes a mix of Magpul PMAG 7.62 LR/SR polymer magazines and LaRue-branded steel magazines, compatible with the SR-25/M110 pattern.
