This SP2022 is configured for dependable service with a short-recoil, locked-breech, tilting-barrel system and a compact 3.9 in barrel. The double-stack magazine design provides a 15+1 capacity while maintaining a grip profile that is easy to control.
The stainless steel slide wears a Nitron finish for corrosion resistance and durability, and includes rear serrations for confident manipulation. The polymer frame features textured grip panels and an integral three-slot M1913 accessory rail.
Controls are straightforward and duty-oriented: DA/SA operation with an external hammer, a curved trigger, and a left-side decocking lever and slide stop. There is no manual safety.
