Built on Colt’s AR-15 platform, the CR6920 MPS-B uses a carbine-length gas system with direct impingement for a familiar operating feel. The 16 in M4-profile barrel is chrome-lined and made from chrome-moly-vanadium steel, capped with an A2 flash hider and threaded at the muzzle.
Sight configuration is straightforward and durable: an A2 fixed front sight base paired with a Magpul MBUS rear flip-up. The flat-top upper receiver provides a Picatinny rail with white T-markings, along with a forward assist and an ejection-port cover.
The Magpul Slim Line furniture includes an adjustable MOE SL stock, MOE SL carbine handguard, and a Magpul pistol grip, all in polymer with a matte black finish. Controls include a manual safety selector and a single-stage trigger.
Receivers are 7075-T6 aluminum with a hard-coat anodized black finish. Capacity is 30+1 in 5.56mm NATO. The barrel is marked '13629 M P 5.56 NATO 1/7'. Overall length is approximately 32–35.5 in, with an approximate weight of 6.9 lb. Made in the USA.
