This Daniel Defense DD5 V4 is a large-frame AR pattern rifle chambered in .308 Win, built around an 18 inch cold hammer forged, chrome-lined S2W heavy-profile barrel and a user-adjustable rifle-length gas system. It features fully ambidextrous controls, a GRIP-N-RIP ambidextrous charging handle with an enlarged latch, and a DLC-coated, buffered BCG with dual ejectors. The rifle includes a DD5 Rail 15.0 free-float M-LOK handguard with a proprietary four-bolt interface and a continuous T-marked top Picatinny rail. Upgrades include a Geissele Super Semi-Automatic Enhanced (SSA-E) trigger, a B5 Systems (Bravo 5) pistol grip.

The 18 inch barrel is cold hammer forged, chrome-lined, and cut with a 1:10 twist for .308 Win. It uses Daniel Defense’s S2W heavy profile and is threaded 5/8x24, fitted with the Daniel Defense Superior Suppression Device. The user-adjustable rifle-length gas system supports reliable function across a range of loads.
Receivers are machined from 7075-T6 aluminum with a Type III hard-coat anodized matte black finish. The rifle provides fully ambidextrous controls, including an ambidextrous magazine release, plus a GRIP-N-RIP ambidextrous charging handle with an enlarged latch. The collapsible stock has textured cheek panels for added stability.
The free-float DD5 Rail 15.0 handguard is aluminum with M-LOK slots and a proprietary four-bolt interface for a solid lock-up. A continuous T-marked top Picatinny rail runs from receiver through the handguard, offering uninterrupted mounting space.
The operating group includes a DLC-coated, buffered bolt carrier group with dual ejectors. This DD5 V4 accepts SR-25 pattern magazines and is finished in matte black. Installed enhancements include a Geissele SSA-E trigger, a B5 Systems (Bravo 5) pistol grip. Made in the USA.
