The .308 Winchester barrel was installed by C.O. Audette and is marked 'C.O. AUDETTE .308 WIN.' The barrel measures 24 in with a sporter contour and a blued finish. The receiver is marked 'U.S. MODEL 1903' and retains the controlled-round feed system with a full-length extractor.
The custom walnut stock presents a right-side shadowline cheekpiece, a pistol-grip profile, and contrasting fore-end tip and grip cap. A ventilated 'White Line' recoil pad with white/black spacers is fitted, and the length of pull measures 12.5 in. Front and rear sling swivel studs are installed.
The bolt has a turned-down handle with a round knob and an engine-turned (jeweled) body. An aftermarket low-profile side safety is fitted at the bolt shroud and is marked 'ON'. The rifle uses an internal magazine with a hinged floorplate/trigger guard; the bottom metal is polished in the white and the stated capacity is 5 rounds.
Sighting and mounting features include a ramped front sight base with a pinned/dovetailed blade, two-piece Weaver-style receiver scope bases, and a barrel block for external-adjustment target scopes. These installations provide flexible mounting options for traditional target optics or receiver-mounted scopes.
Overall presentation is classic sporter: blued steel barrel and receiver, polished-in-the-white bottom metal, and a high-gloss walnut stock. The combination of Audette’s rebarrel work, refined stock features, and practical mounting hardware make this a capable and distinctive custom 1903 sporter.
