- Blue plastic Star factory case with STAR logo and serial-labeled end-label for Model 30M 9mm
- Two 15-round steel double-column magazines with 5/10/15 witness holes
The Model 30M uses a recoil-operated, locked-breech system with a linkless tilting barrel. Its internal slide rail layout and rear cocking serrations provide a distinctive handling feel, while the DA/SA trigger and ring-type spur hammer support both double-action and single-action operation.
Controls include a standard left-side magazine release and left-side slide stop. The slide-mounted ambidextrous safety is not a decocker and blocks the firing pin. Additional safety features include a firing pin block, a magazine disconnect, and a loaded chamber indicator.
Sights are a fixed 3-dot system: a fixed-blade front with a painted dot and a dovetailed, square-notch rear with two painted dots, drift-adjustable for windage. This setup offers a clean, familiar sight picture.
The pistol is built on a full-size, all-steel frame with a 4.25" barrel and a 15+1 capacity. Black checkered synthetic grips with STAR medallions provide a secure hold. Included magazines are steel, double-column units with clearly marked 5/10/15 witness holes.
Markings include "MOD. 30M / CAL. 9m.m.P" and the slide legend "STAR EIBAR ESPAÑA" with the Star-burst emblem. Import stamp reads "INTERARMS ALEXANDRIA, VIRGINIA," confirming U.S. import by Interarms during the 1990s era.
The factory case bears an end-label that corresponds to the pistol’s serial format, noted with a leading zero.
