Construction is stainless steel with a matte gray KimPro II finish on both slide and frame. The slide features SIS cocking serrations and a flat-top profile, and the pistol is marked "KIMBER, YONKERS, NY U.S.A." to denote its U.S. manufacture.
Controls and ergonomics include an ambidextrous thumb safety, a beavertail grip safety with memory bump, a checkered magazine release, and a beveled magazine well. The front strap wears 30 LPI checkering, and the skeletonized hammer complements the fast, crisp single-action trigger. Sighting is handled by fixed night sights with a ledge, using a dovetailed front blade with a single dot and a dovetailed ledge-style rear. Checkered laminated wood grips with a Kimber script inset complete the package.
