The U.S. Survival’s takedown system uses a large knurled barrel nut for quick assembly and storage. When packed, the hollow, sealed ABS stock holds the barrel, receiver, and magazines securely, and floats when properly stowed. A rubber buttplate and molded wrist texturing add practical handling benefits.
The 16.125-inch barrel uses a steel liner with a coated ABS outer sleeve and an unthreaded, sleeved profile. A 1:16 twist supports standard .22 LR loads, and the semi-automatic, blowback action runs with the included 8-round steel magazines for an 8+1 capacity.
For aiming, the rifle comes with a rear aperture (peep) and an orange front blade. The receiver top has a 3/8-inch grooved dovetail to accept compatible ring mounts, offering a straightforward path to add optics if desired.
Key dimensions include a 35-inch overall length, about 3.5 lb weight, and a 14.5-inch length of pull. The rifle wears a black finish over its receiver and stock. Controls include a serrated magazine release located inside the trigger guard.
Built in the USA, this model is the H002B variant in the U.S. Survival series, reflecting the AR-7 lineage by Eugene Stoner while incorporating Henry’s modern materials and field-friendly design.
