What’s Included
- Colt New Frontier .22 G-Series revolver (Mfg. 1976)
This United States-made New Frontier .22 is a single-action-only rimfire revolver with an external hammer and a six-round fluted cylinder marked ".22 L.R." It was manufactured in 1976 as part of the G-Series, and it sports the classic 6-inch round barrel.
The flat-top frame carries a fully adjustable square-notch rear sight paired with a ramped, serrated front blade. This target-style sighting setup is factory-correct for the model and offers precise adjustability.
Its color case-hardened frame contrasts with the blued barrel, cylinder, ejector-rod housing, and grip frame. A crescent-style, serrated ejector-rod head and the blued cylinder complete the traditional Colt single-action profile.
Grip panels are black checkered "eagle"-pattern synthetic with inlaid Rampant Colt medallions. Markings include the barrel-top rollmark "COLT'S P.F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD CT.
U.S.A." and the left-side model marking "NEW FRONTIER .22," along with the two-line patent legend and Rampant Colt on the left frame.
This example also features a decorative scroll engraving on the buttstrap. The motif is a non-standard addition that adds a distinct, custom touch without altering the revolver’s core factory configuration.
