The Fastback Emperor Scorpion Carry configuration delivers a compact, Commander-length 1911 with a 4.25 in bushing-fitted carbon-steel barrel and a GI-style recoil spring plug. The non-railed dustcover keeps the profile clean for carry while maintaining the classic 1911 layout and balance.
Construction is all metal, with both slide and frame in stainless steel and finished in a Flat Dark Earth PVD coating. The squared SIG-profile slide incorporates front and rear cocking serrations, a lowered and flared ejection port, and an external extractor for strong, consistent extraction.
Controls and ergonomics are set up for confident handling: single-action-only operation, an ambidextrous thumb safety, a grip safety with a memory bump, and checkering on the front strap and mainspring housing. A skeletonized Commander-style hammer and a skeletonized, aluminum, adjustable-style trigger complete the fire controls. Gray textured G10 grip panels with an X motif offer a positive grasp.
Factory SIGLITE night sights are dovetailed front and rear for durability and a clear sight picture. Capacity is 8+1 in .45 ACP, and the pistol carries markings including "SIG SAUER 1911" on the slide and "SIG SAUER INC. NEWINGTON–NH–USA" on the frame/slide, reflecting its U.S. manufacture.
