This Ruger-made Marlin 1895 SBL pairs a 19.1 in cold hammer-forged stainless barrel threaded 11/16x24 with a factory radial muzzle brake, a polished stainless receiver, and a gray/black laminated stock. It features a full-length Picatinny rail with an adjustable ghost-ring rear and a fiber-optic front sight with a tritium ring, plus a large-loop lever and spiral-fluted bolt. Marked “MARLIN – MAYODAN, NC – USA” with an RM-prefix serial, this model 70478 reflects the first Ruger-era 1895 release from December 2021.

The stainless-steel build centers on a 19.1 in cold hammer-forged barrel with a 1:20 RH twist and 11/16x24 threads, capped by a factory radial muzzle brake. The receiver is polished stainless, and the action uses a cross-bolt safety.
Sighting equipment includes a full-length Picatinny rail integrating an adjustable ghost-ring rear sight and a fiber-optic front sight with a tritium ring. The rifle uses a right-side loading gate and a large-loop lever, with a spiral-fluted polished bolt for smooth cycling. Capacity is 6+1 in a tubular magazine.
The gray/black laminated wood stock and forend feature laser-style checkering and a recoil pad. Front and rear sling swivel studs are installed. Length of pull is 13.38 in; overall length is 37.25 in; weight is 7.3 lb.
