What’s Included
- Walther P1 pistol
- 1x 7-round Walther P38/P1 pattern single-stack steel magazine
Manufactured in West Germany in November 1972, this P1 shows the correct Ulm antler and eagle/N nitro proofs, with the slide marked P1 Kal 9mm and date-stamped 11/72. An INTERARMS ALEX. VA import mark is present, reflecting its import history.
The pistol uses the P38/P1 pattern with an aluminum-alloy frame and steel barrel. This example is a pre-reinforcement frame variant without the later hex cross-bolt. It is full-size with a 4.9 in barrel and wears checkered black synthetic grips with a left-panel thumb rest.
Operation is DA/SA with a short-recoil, falling-block locking system. Controls include a slide-mounted safety/decocker and a loaded-chamber indicator. The heel-type magazine catch is paired with a lanyard loop. The open-top slide with vertical rear serrations and fixed blade front/fixed notch rear sights completes the classic P1 configuration.
Numbering on the slide (585) matches the frame, and the bore is clean and shiny with well-defined rifling. Capacity is 7+1 using the included Walther P38/P1 pattern single-stack steel magazine.
