Built as a rimfire tribute to the MP5SD, this rifle pairs the familiar MP5 silhouette with .22 LR for economical training and range use. The SD-style ventilated shroud/faux suppressor overlays a 16-inch barrel, maintaining the correct profile while staying within standard rifle dimensions.
The operating system is simple blowback, semi-automatic, with a two-position pictogram manual safety. Controls include the MP5-style left-side, knurled charging handle on the cocking tube. The retractable, telescoping stock with a textured buttplate delivers a 12.5-inch length of pull and fast length adjustments.
Sighting is handled by a hooded front post and a diopter rear drum, giving a classic HK sight picture. A receiver-mounted claw-style Picatinny top rail is installed for mounting optics, and a 6 o'clock M1913 rail segment under the handguard supports lights or other accessories.
