This Brazilian-made Taurus PT 1911 is a full-size, steel-frame 9mm with a Government-length 5 inch barrel and a matte black finish. It features a checkered front strap and mainspring housing, an extended beavertail grip safety with memory bump, and a left-side-only extended thumb safety. Practical touches like front and rear cocking serrations, a lowered and flared ejection port, and 3-dot sights with an elevation-adjustable rear make this an easy 1911 to run and maintain. It comes with one 9-round magazine.

The full-size steel slide and frame are finished in matte black for a low-glare profile. The slide includes front and rear cocking serrations and a lowered/flared ejection port to support smooth manipulation and reliable ejection. The 5 inch Government-length barrel uses a standard barrel bushing.
Controls are set up for a classic single-action-only 1911 with modern enhancements. It has a long, skeletonized three-hole trigger, a skeletonized commander-style hammer, a checkered magazine release, and a left-side-only extended thumb safety. The extended beavertail grip safety with memory bump and the firing pin block are included safety features.
Grip and handling details include black checkered synthetic panels with Taurus medallions, plus checkering on both the front strap and mainspring housing for added traction. The pistol is a non-railed, single-stack 1911 pattern chambered in 9mm Luger with a 9+1 capacity.
Sighting is straightforward with a 3-dot system: a white-dot front blade and a two-dot, square-notch rear that is dovetailed and fitted with an elevation screw for fine-tuning.
Markings include FORJAS TAURUS S.A. – MADE IN BRAZIL, TAURUS MIAMI, FL, and INT MFG INC. Country of origin is Brazil, and the serial number is present on the frame and repeated on the barrel hood.
