The receiver is marked "Remington Model-1100" with "MAGNUM" on the left side, and the serial suffix "M" denotes the magnum frame. The barrel is stamped "12 GA. MAGNUM FOR 3 IN. SHELLS" with patent numbers. This is the gas-operated, semi-automatic 1100 action known for smooth cycling with magnum 12 gauge loads.
The 28-inch vent-rib barrel retains its single front bead. While the factory choke marking "FULL" remains on the barrel, it was shortened and the choke opened so the gun patterns steel shot more effectively. The bore registers as a cylinder bore.
The tubular under-barrel magazine is configured for a 2+1 capacity. Chambering is 3 inches, pairing with the Magnum receiver and barrel markings to accommodate 3-inch 12 gauge shells.
Factory embellishments include scroll engraving on both sides of the receiver and a chrome-finished bolt with decorative scroll.
