This Colt Government Model El Ranchero is a limited edition, individually numbered .38 Super 1911 with full-coverage scroll engraving and a 24K gold-plated finish. Marked No. 63 of 300, it features pearl grips with 24K plated Rampant Colt inlays and distinctive El Ranchero markings. It comes in excellent condition with original documentation and packaging.
Designed and executed by Custom & Collectable Firearms, the El Ranchero is built on a full-size Colt Government Model platform with steel slide and frame. The 24K gold plating extends across the slide, frame, and small parts, complemented by deep-cut, Western-inspired hand-engraved scrollwork. The slide carries the El Ranchero script and a top-of-slide oval relief emblem, with a matching "63 of 300" cartouche.
Chambered in .38 Super with a 5 in barrel, it retains classic 1911 features: single-action operation, a solid short trigger, spur hammer, left-side thumb safety, grip safety, and a checkered magazine release. The slide has rear vertical serrations, and the pistol wears GI-style fixed sights with a low-profile black blade front and square-notch rear. It uses a single-stack detachable magazine configuration rated at 7+1.
Factory roll marks include "COLT'S P.F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A.", and country of origin is USA.
The chambering is .38 Super, as confirmed by the included documentation and magazine markings. The presentation-grade pearl grips incorporate raised Rampant Colt medallions plated in 24K, tying the grip panels into the engraved and plated aesthetic of the pistol.
