This Kel-Tec SUB-2000 Gen 2 is a folding 9mm carbine configured in the Multi-Mag setup for S&W M&P-pattern magazines. It features a 16.25 in steel barrel with factory 1/2x28 threads, a matte silver/gray finish, and a lightweight polymer/steel build that folds down to approximately 16.25 in. The Gen 2 handguard brings full-length Picatinny rails at 12 and 6 o'clock with M-LOK side slots, and the iron sights include a protected, adjustable front post and a folding rear aperture.

The SUB-2000’s folding design allows it to collapse to roughly its barrel length for compact storage while delivering about 30.5 in overall length when unfolded. It weighs approximately 4.25 lb, balancing polymer components with steel where it counts, and wears a matte silver/gray finish.
The 16.25 in steel barrel is factory-threaded 1/2x28, with a 1:10 twist. This carbine runs a semi-automatic, straight blowback action and offers a 15+1 capacity. A cross-bolt safety is integrated into the control layout.
This is the Multi-Mag configuration currently set for S&W M&P-pattern magazines, and it comes with two 15-round magazines. If you run M&P-pattern mags, this setup is ready to go.
The Gen 2 polymer fore-end provides full-length Picatinny rails at the 12 and 6 o'clock positions and M-LOK slots on the sides. The rear folding aperture is integral to the hinge block, and the front post is protected and adjustable for windage and elevation.
The stock is polymer with adjustable, telescoping, and skeletonized features, offering a 13.0 in length of pull. Construction includes a steel receiver and polymer frame, and the carbine is made in the USA.
