The TX22 T.O.R.O. configuration provides an optics-cut slide with a cover plate, front and rear serrations, and a window/lightening cut. The aluminum slide and polymer frame help keep overall weight to 17.3 oz while maintaining a full-size footprint.
Its 4.6" threaded barrel is made from alloy steel and uses a 1:10 RH twist. The pistol is striker-fired, blowback-operated, and single-action only, featuring Taurus's Performance Trigger System for a consistent pull.
Controls include a push-button magazine release and multiple safeties: a manual thumb safety, trigger safety, and striker block. Sights are straightforward and practical with a fixed white-dot front blade and a drift-adjustable rear notch.
