The Lightweight Champion Operator pairs classic 1911 ergonomics with a compact 4 inch barrel and an integral 3-slot Picatinny rail. Its bushingless, match-grade bull barrel is stainless steel with a fully supported ramp.
The forged slide and forged aluminum-alloy frame deliver strength with reduced carry weight. The LW serial prefix indicates the lightweight alloy frame used on this model.
Controls and ergonomics include an ambidextrous thumb safety, beavertail grip safety with memory bump, long 3-hole trigger, skeletonized rowel hammer, flat checkered mainspring housing, and a left-side magazine release.
