What’s Included
- Smith & Wesson Model 19-6 Combat Magnum revolver
- Aftermarket Pachmayr rubber finger-groove grips (installed)
The revolver is built on a carbon-steel frame and cylinder with a high-polish blued finish. It has a 2.5-inch barrel with a partial underlug and a shrouded ejector rod, plus a 6-shot fluted cylinder and a serrated topstrap. Factory rollmarks include "S.&W. 357 MAGNUM" and "SMITH & WESSON," and the yoke cut is marked "MOD. 19-6." The right-frame address indicates Springfield, Massachusetts manufacture.
It operates in double-action/single-action with an exposed, checkered hammer spur and a smooth-faced trigger. The hammer is case-colored, and there is no internal lock.
Sighting equipment consists of a ramped, pinned front blade and an S&W micrometer-style adjustable square-notch rear. This iron-sight setup provides precise, user-adjustable elevation and windage at the rear.
As a 19-6, this Combat Magnum incorporates the series engineering updates: revised yoke retention, the radius stud package, a floating hand, and a frame-mounted firing-pin bushing. The serial prefix BBT corresponds to a late-1988 to early-1989 production window, aligning with the model’s late-1980s era. Aftermarket Pachmayr rubber finger-groove grips are installed.
