This Winchester Model 24 is a 20 gauge side-by-side with 28 inch barrels, fixed Full & Modified chokes, and 2 3/4 inch chambers. It features the Model 24’s striker-fired, true hammerless boxlock design with a sliding tang safety and spring-powered extractors. Oval Winchester "WP" proof marks are present, and the gun retains its classic walnut stock and long semi-beavertail forend configuration.

Bore Overall Condition: Good - Clean, well-maintained, minor wear marks.
Specific Condition Notes: The butt pad is broken. The original bluing is no longer present on the receiver and barrels.

The Model 24 is a side-by-side double with a top-lever break-action, striker-fired internals, and a true hammerless boxlock. It uses spring-powered extractors and a sliding tang safety, giving it simple, reliable operation in a classic format.
This 20 gauge example is built with 28 inch barrels and fixed Full & Modified chokes, paired with 2 3/4 inch chambers. A solid, raised, matted top rib and a single front bead provide a clean sighting plane.
The gun is configured with a walnut pistol-grip buttstock and a long semi-beavertail forend, both uncheckered. Length of pull measures 14.25 inches. Capacity is two rounds.
Winchester "WP" oval proof marks appear at the barrel breech and on the receiver top. The receiver is steel, and the firearm was made in the United States. Approximately 116,000 Model 24 shotguns were produced from 1939 into the late 1950s.
