Built as the Millennium (Improved) Old Model variant, this revolver retains the classic single-action operation with a six-shot fluted cylinder and a 4.75 inch barrel. The fixed sight setup uses a blade front and a topstrap groove rear for a traditional sight picture in .45 Colt.
The barrel, frame, and cylinder are steel with a matte blue/black finish, complemented by a brass grip frame (trigger guard and backstrap) and one-piece hardwood grips. A case-colored hammer adds an authentic visual detail to the overall presentation.
Mechanical features include a screw-retained cylinder base pin and a bullseye-style ejector head. These details reflect the Old Model configuration within the Millennium series while providing secure retention and familiar handling characteristics.
Markings are clear and desirable: the frame carries a two-line 1871/1872 patent legend, the barrel is marked "MOD. 1873 CAL. 45 COLT," and the importer rollmark reads "INTERARMS ALEX. VA." The cylinder rear is stamped "1518," matching the catalog identifier on the box. Made in Italy, this is a faithful reproduction in the 1873 Cattleman Millennium series.
