This Doublestar STAR-15 is an AR-15 pattern pistol chambered in 6.5 Grendel with a 12.5-inch barrel and a 1:8 twist. It features a Midwest Industries free-float M-LOK handguard with a continuous top Picatinny rail, a threaded muzzle with a three-prong flash hider, and an SB Tactical adjustable brace. It comes with two 10-round steel magazines marked for 6.5 Grendel, and is built on black anodized aluminum receivers in the USA.

Chambered in 6.5 Grendel, this STAR-15 pistol uses a 12.5-inch barrel with a 1:8 twist. The barrel and ejection port are marked 6.5 Grendel, and a low-profile set-screw gas block feeds the direct-impingement system. The muzzle is threaded and fitted with a three-prong flash hider.
The upper is a flattop configuration with a forward assist, ejection-port cover, and shell deflector. A Midwest Industries free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard extends rail space with a continuous top Picatinny section. A compact DF CO M-LOK vertical grip/hand stop is installed.
Furniture includes an SB Tactical adjustable pistol stabilizing brace with a Velcro strap and a B5 Systems polymer pistol grip. A carbine-length receiver extension with a castle nut and end plate anchors the brace. Controls include a manual safety.
The receivers are aluminum with a black anodized finish and are marked DoubleStar Corp., Winchester, KY, with model STAR-15 and caliber multi on the receiver. The pistol is made in the USA and ships with two AR-15 pattern magazines specifically marked for 6.5 Grendel, providing a 10+1 capacity.
