The H010B is Henry’s Brass Lever Action .45-70 configuration, featuring a polished brass receiver that complements its brass buttplate and brass forend cap. The straight-grip American walnut stock and matching walnut forend are fitted with sling swivel studs, and the rifle uses a large-loop lever for positive operation.
Its 22-inch octagon steel barrel with a flat crown is paired with a 1:20 twist. Sighting is traditional and precise, with a dovetailed beaded blade front sight and a fully adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight with a stepped elevator, both mounted in dovetails.
This model uses a tube-loading configuration with a removable inner magazine and a 4-round tubular magazine. There is no side loading gate. A transfer bar safety is incorporated. Length of pull is 13.5 inches.
The receiver is drilled and tapped for optics and accepts Weaver 63B pattern bases. Overall length is approximately 41.1 inches and weight is about 8.1 pounds. Markings include “HENRY REPEATING ARMS — BAYONNE NJ — MADE IN USA,” with model code H010B stamped on the lower tang.
