The Commander-length 4.25 in barrel and slide are paired with a full-size 1911 grip frame, giving this pistol a familiar 1911 profile with a compact top end. The forged steel frame and slide wear a nickel finish for a bright, uniform look.
The barrel is cold hammer forged, and the pistol uses Series 70 compatible internals with no firing-pin safety. It retains the GI-style short guide rod with a spring plug for traditional 1911 operation.
Sights are enhanced GI-style fixed units, with a dovetailed front blade featuring a single white dot and a dovetailed, low-profile square-notch rear. The slide includes rear cocking serrations, a lowered and flared ejection port, and no front serrations.
Controls include a thumb safety and grip safety, a skeletonized three-hole curved trigger, and a commander-style ring hammer. The magazine release is standard.
