Built on a stamped steel receiver with a powder coat over Parkerizing, the PDWR uses a fixed barrel and fluted chamber, delivering the classic roller-delayed blowback feel in a compact pistol format. The left-side, non-reciprocating HK-style charging handle and dual magazine releases (push-button and paddle) provide familiar, efficient controls.
The 8.5 in barrel is heavy-contour and stress-relieved with a 1:10 RH twist for .308 projectiles. It is threaded 5/8x24 and fitted with a multi-port brake. The combination emphasizes durability and controllability in a short package.
A welded 7.5 in Picatinny top rail offers solid mounting for accessories, while the aluminum M-LOK handguard (PTR logo) supports modern attachment options. The rotary diopter rear drum and hooded front post provide precise, durable iron sights.
An AR-pattern receiver extension with an adjustable strap-type arm brace rounds out the configuration. The pistol accepts G3-pattern magazines and includes three 10-round steel mags.
