The Izhmash Biathlon-7-2-KO is the civilian KO sporter variant of the BI-7 series, built in Russia by Izhmash and imported by EAA. It features a straight-pull toggle-bolt with a right-side articulated lever, a 20-inch barrel, and a hardwood sporter stock with checkering and an Izhmash-branded cast-metal buttplate. A receiver-top cross-slot scope rail is installed on the integral dovetail, and the rifle uses a detachable 5-round magazine with a 5+1 capacity.

This BI-7 series KO sporter uses a straight-pull toggle-bolt action with a right-side articulated lever, allowing rapid cycling while maintaining a consistent shooting position. The trigger-guard mounted safety is easy to access, and the detachable box magazine provides a 5+1 capacity in .22 LR.
The rifle is configured with a 20-inch barrel and no open sights installed. A receiver-top scope mounting rail with cross-slots is factory-fitted on the integral dovetail, providing a solid interface for mounting optics.
The hardwood sporter stock includes a pistol-grip profile, checkered grip panels, and sling-swivel studs. An Izhmash-branded cast-metal buttplate and a 14-inch length of pull deliver a traditional, durable configuration suited to field and target use.
Made in Russia by Izhmash and imported by EAA Corp in Cocoa, Florida, this example bears the BIATHLON-7-2-KO model marking, the Izhmash triangular logo, and other factory/import stamps including "MADE IN RUSSIA BY IZHMASH 22LR" and the EAA importer mark. The finish is black, and the receiver shows additional certification and inspection markings.
