Built on a blued steel receiver with tasteful factory scroll/floral engraving across the receiver, top lever, and trigger guard, this Model 101 presents the refined look expected of Olin-Kodensha Japanese production. The breech and monobloc surfaces are engine-turned (jeweled), adding a precise, finished touch where fit and function matter.
The 26 inch steel barrels use a vent rib with a brass bead front sight for a clean sight picture. Chambers are marked for both 2 3/4 and 3 inches, and this example is fitted with fixed Modified and Cylinder chokes, an effective pairing for upland and general field use.
Stocked in gloss-finished walnut, the gun features a checkered pistol-grip buttstock and a checkered semi-beavertail forend for secure handling. A black hard-rubber Winchester buttplate with two-screw attachment completes the traditional field configuration. Length of pull is 14.0 inches.
