This DDM4 V7 SLW features a 14.5 inch lightweight-profile CMV steel barrel that is cold hammer forged, chrome-lined, and threaded 1/2x28. The pinned and welded extended flash hider brings the barrel assembly to legal length while preserving the maneuverable feel of the SLW configuration. A 1:7 twist supports common 5.56 NATO bullet weights.
The free-float Daniel Defense MFR 13.5 handguard is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with M-LOK slots, integral QD sling sockets, and a continuous T-marked top rail (T1–T29). A vertical foregrip is installed on the handguard.
Receivers are 7075-T6 aluminum with a Type III hard-coat anodized finish. Controls include a standard magazine release and a manual safety selector. The rifle is equipped with the Daniel Defense GRIP-N-RIP ambidextrous charging handle, a Daniel Defense textured polymer pistol grip, and a stock with soft-touch overmolded panels and a DD buttstock pad.
