The Galil ACE SAR Gen 1 pistol is built on a steel receiver with a polymer exterior, combining durability with modern ergonomics. Its long-stroke gas piston and closed rotating bolt deliver the proven operating system associated with the platform, while the left-side reciprocating charging handle and ambidextrous safety give intuitive, bilateral controls.
The 8.3 inch CrMoV barrel is cold hammer forged, chrome-lined, and threaded, with a 1:9.45 RH twist tailored for 7.62x39. This setup offers longevity and easy maintenance, while the threaded muzzle supports common accessory use when applicable to the buyer's setup.
Factory sights include a protected front post on the gas block tower and an adjustable rear aperture/diopter, both with tritium inserts for low-light visibility. A continuous Picatinny top rail spans the receiver and handguard, and the polymer tri-rail forearm features sliding cover panels for comfort and flexibility.
