This FNS-9 Longslide features a 5.0-inch cold hammer-forged stainless-steel barrel with a polished chamber and feed ramp. The stainless-steel slide wears a matte black finish and includes front and rear serrations for confident manipulation. An external extractor with a loaded-chamber indicator is part of the factory design.
The pistol retains fully ambidextrous controls, including the slide stop and magazine release. It is striker-fired with a polymer trigger and a trigger safety. The black polymer frame provides a secure hold with micro-checkering and a ribbed backstrap, and the dustcover integrates a MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail.
Sight configuration is set up for red-dot use at the rear dovetail: a dovetail red-dot mounting plate is installed, and the rear iron sight has been removed. The front sight remains a white-dot blade.
Capacity is 17+1 in 9mm Luger, and this pistol includes seven 17-round magazines. Factory specs list overall length at approximately 8.25 inches and weight at approximately 26.5 ounces. The slide is marked FN Columbia, SC USA, and the pistol is made in the United States.
