Derived from the LC Carbine design, this blowback-operated semi-automatic pistol uses Ruger’s Secure Action system with a protected internal hammer, a bladed trigger safety, and a manual safety. The receiver is marked with the clear warning "FIREARM WILL FIRE WITH MAGAZINE REMOVED."
The 10.3 in steel barrel features a nitrided finish for durability and 1/2"-28 threads with a thread protector. Its 1:9 RH twist rate is tailored for 5.7x28mm, and the bore presents a clean, mirror finish with sharp lands and grooves.
The aluminum-alloy receiver wears a Type III hard-coat anodized finish and is matched to a CNC-milled aluminum handguard with M-LOK slots. A full-length top Picatinny rail simplifies mounting along the upper, while the rear receiver includes a short 1913/Picatinny interface and a QD socket.
Controls are user-friendly, including a left-side forward charging handle that is reversible. The pistol uses Ruger-5.7 magazines and ships with three 20-round mags, delivering a 20+1 capacity.
