The rifle accepts SR-25 pattern magazines and includes two 20-round PMAGs and an installed bipod.

The DD5V4 combines a robust 7075-T6 receiver set with a 4-bolt barrel interface to enhance rigidity and consistency. Its 18 in cold hammer-forged S2W-profile barrel is chrome-lined with a 1:10 twist and ends in a 5/8x24 threaded muzzle fitted with a multi-port brake.
A rifle-length direct-impingement gas system pairs with a 2-position adjustable gas block for tuned operation. The DLC-coated buffered BCG features a dual-ejector bolt designed to promote strong extraction with 7.62 NATO/.308 Win.
Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the safety selector, bolt catch/release, and magazine release. The rifle is equipped with an adjustable, collapsible polymer stock and a Daniel Defense pistol grip with soft-touch overmolding.
The DD5 15.0 M-LOK free-float handguard, made from 6061-T6 aluminum, provides ample mounting slots and a continuous T-marked top rail. A rifle-mounted bipod is already installed.
This custom example wears a hydro-dipped tan/brown scaled camouflage finish over Type III hard-coat anodized receivers. It accepts SR-25 pattern magazines, carries a 20+1 capacity, and is manufactured in Black Creek, Georgia, USA.
