The 20 inch heavy-profile barrel is cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined, and free-floating with a 1:10 twist, giving this SCAR 20S a durable, precision-oriented setup. The threaded muzzle arrives with a two-chamber brake installed, and the barrel system is paired to a short-stroke gas piston action.
The NRCH layout provides dual, ambidextrous, non-reciprocating charging handles that lock forward and offer forward-assist capability. Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the safety and magazine release, and the rifle accepts SCAR 17S/20S pattern magazines with a stated 20+1 capacity.
A monolithic hard-anodized aluminum upper includes a full-length numbered top Picatinny rail with additional rail sections at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock on the aluminum handguard. Folding front and rear iron sights are installed from the factory.
The precision-adjustable stock offers an adjustable cheek riser, adjustable buttpad, and adjustable length of pull with a bottom Picatinny section. A rubber finger-groove pistol grip provides a secure hold. Unloaded weight is about 11.6 lb, and overall length is approximately 41–42.8 inches. The two-tone Flat Dark Earth finish features a tan upper, brownish lower, and black furniture. The trigger is the Geissele Super SCAR two-stage match unit.
