The A11 starts with a matched 7075-T6 billet receiver set featuring an integrated trigger guard and Type III hard-coat anodizing for superior wear resistance. Ambush opted for a mid-length gas system and low-profile gas block, giving the rifle a smooth recoil impulse while maintaining reliability with hunting loads.
Its 18-inch, 4150 steel barrel is cold hammer forged in the heavier S2W profile, nitrided for corrosion resistance, and threaded 5/8-24 to accept muzzle devices or suppressors. A 1:11 RH twist stabilizes a wide range of 6.8 SPC bullet weights.
The factory-installed Geissele SSA two-stage trigger breaks at a crisp 4.75 lb, providing a clean, predictable pull that supports precise shot placement. Controls remain familiar AR-15 style, including a manual safety selector.
A 12-inch Modular Float Rail offers ample M1913 Picatinny space for optics, lights, or the included removable fore-grip, while preserving free-float accuracy. The adjustable six-position stock, rubber butt-pad, and Magpul MOE grip allow quick fit adjustments in the field.
