The XCR II series pairs the Model 700 action with a TriNyte PVD corrosion-resistant finish over 416 stainless steel on both barrel and receiver, presented in a matte black color. The 24-inch barrel is free-floated with a sporter contour and carries no sights. The barrel shows a REP proof mark, and the receiver is roll-marked "MODEL 700 STAINLESS" with Ilion, NY manufacturing marks.
The rifle uses a right-hand, two-lug rotating bolt and Remington’s X-Mark Pro adjustable trigger. The receiver is drilled and tapped for optics, and this example includes installed two-piece Picatinny scope bases for easy scope attachment.
The OD green synthetic stock features black textured overmold grip panels for secure handling. A SuperCell recoil pad and sling swivel studs are factory-style elements that support comfort and carry. Length of pull measures 13.25 inches.
Feeding is via an internal box magazine with a 3+1 capacity and a hinged floorplate engraved "XCR II." The bolt is marked with the last four digits matching the receiver serial, indicating a matched bolt and receiver set.
