The Mark V TacMark uses Weatherby’s right-hand 9-lug magnum action with a 54-degree bolt lift for fast cycling. The bolt body is longitudinally fluted and capped with a round bolt knob, giving smooth operation with positive purchase. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope bases with two-hole pairs, and there are no iron sights.
Its 28-inch heavy contour steel barrel is fluted and threaded, fitted with a radial-ported muzzle brake to help manage recoil in the powerful .30-378 Wby. Mag. chambering. The matte finish complements the rifle’s purpose-built configuration.
The black, textured composite stock is set up for consistent, repeatable shooting. It includes an adjustable cheekpiece secured with twin set-screws, a recoil pad with a spacer system to fine-tune fit, sling swivel studs, and a short accessory rail under the fore-end. A CNC-machined aluminum bedding plate is noted for this model.
This TacMark runs a detachable box magazine system with a 5+1 capacity and a 13.25-inch length of pull. Barrel and receiver markings include WEATHERBY, PASO ROBLES, CA, MARK V • MADE IN U.S.A., and caliber designation USE ONLY 30-378 WBY MAG, affirming its U.S. manufacture and correct chambering.
