What's Included
- Ruger M77 Mark II Target .223 Rem bolt-action rifle
The Target variant is built around a 26-inch heavy-contour, hammer-forged stainless barrel that is free-floated and finished with a target crown. It ships without sights for a clean barrel profile. The stainless receiver and barrel provide durability with a uniform stainless finish.
The M77 Mark II action uses controlled-round feed with a Mauser-style non-rotating claw extractor for reliable cycling. A three-position wing safety and a two-stage target trigger support deliberate, precise operation. Feeding is via an internal box magazine with a hinged floorplate, with a stated capacity of 5 rounds.
The brown laminated hardwood stock features a wide, beavertail fore-end and a pistol-grip profile for stable support on bags or a rest. It includes a rubber recoil pad, sling swivel studs, and a 13.5-inch length of pull.
Integral Ruger scope-mount bases are machined into the receiver for secure optic attachment. The rifle is chambered in .223 Rem and was made in the United States. The serial prefix 789- falls within Ruger’s 2002 production block.
