Built in Black Creek, Georgia, this M4A1 features 7075-T6 aluminum receivers in an FDE Type III hard-coat anodized finish and "M4A1" receiver marking. The rifle carries full Daniel Defense markings including "DANIEL DEFENSE • BLACK CREEK, GA, U.S.A. • M4 CARBINE • CAL MULTI" and the RIS II rail’s patent number 7,716,865 with CAGE code 3E3E2 and full T/L/B position markings.
The 16.1 in barrel is 4150 CMV steel, cold hammer forged, chrome-lined, and threaded, paired with an open 3-prong flash hider. A 1:7 twist rate supports a wide range of 5.56 NATO projectiles. The direct-impingement gas system provides the classic AR-15 operating feel.
Its Daniel Defense M4A1 RIS II free-float quad rail is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and delivers uninterrupted Picatinny rail space on all four sides. The rifle includes an adjustable FDE stock and a Daniel Defense overmolded pistol grip, along with an installed quick-detach sling swivel for convenient sling mounting.
Fire control is upgraded with the Geissele Super Dynamic Combat (SD-C) flat-bow trigger, offering a clean, duty-ready trigger pull. Sighting is handled by a folding front sight and a MaTech 200–600 m rear folding sight. The rifle is STANAG magazine compatible with a 30+1 capacity and includes a manual safety.
