The 18-inch barrel is cut from 4150 CMV steel, parkerized for corrosion resistance, and threaded 5/8-24 to accept the included blast-reducing linear compensator or any compatible muzzle device. A 1:10 right-hand twist stabilizes the wide range of .308 Win projectiles.
Forged 7075-T6 upper and lower receivers follow the DPMS Gen-1 low rail standard, providing parts commonality and an uninterrupted Picatinny top rail for optics or iron sights. The direct-impingement action keeps the rifle lightweight while maintaining mil-spec controls and a standard charging handle.
The 15-inch aluminum free-float M-LOK handguard offers generous accessory space and helps maximize barrel harmonics for consistent accuracy. The factory-installed Grip-Pod style fore-grip quickly deploys into a bipod, giving shooters an instant field support option.
An adjustable six-position polymer stock, Bear Creek Arsenal-branded buffer tube assembly, and an American-flag motif pistol grip round out the furniture. The rifle feeds from SR-25 / DPMS LR-308 pattern magazines and ships with one 20-round Magpul PMAG.
